We would like to object to the siting of two young peoples care homes within our village. 
Westcroft is a small village with no shops or amenities, and a very inconsistent bus service only running between 6am and 5pm, no easy access to schools and so is the wrong place for these institutions. 
This will also make accessing workplaces or college courses difficult as the residents will need to be driven everywhere. 
The main road (a460) is a consistently busy 40mph road and the main route between Cannock and Wolverhampton hospitals so the traffic and emergency vehicles is likely to cause triggers for the people planned for the home
There are planning applications for two homes within 100 yards of each other, this is too much for such a small village. 
The care homes are likely to bring noise and antisocial behaviour to the area which is not desirable as there are several young families in the village. 
Additional cars from visitors, carers, medical professionals parking by the side of the road will ruin the grassy areas in front of the houses. The road is already busy so additional traffic will not help. 
We would like South Staffs planning to look closer at the village and realise this is the wrong place for such institutions and reject the applications for change of use.
