Given that the WVA 2017 Congress has finished, I've closed the petition and delivered the final signatures to the WVA with a request that they continue to spread awareness about the dog meat trade. I'm pleased that the WVA addressed the issue of the dog meat trade openly during the 2017 GSAW. I have been in contact with Professor Natalie Waran who has kindly informed me that the presentation by Dr. Hey Won Lee was excellent and showed some of the the harrows of dog meat production with scientific data.
