My group would like to make a sincere, urgent request of the WVA, specifically, that you allow two esteemed animal-welfare professionals in South Korea to speak at the Congress, to augment or follow the currently scheduled presentation on the Dog Meat Trade in Asia. Both are local, highly respected members of the community, renowned for their dedication to animal health and welfare in the Seoul community: - Dr. Myung Bo Young, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), and - Nami Kim, Founder & Director, Save Korean Dogs Sanctuary, savekoreandogs.org Given their extensive experience working with animals from the Dog Meat Trade in a context local to the Congress location this year, our organization is confident that Dr. Myung and Nami Kim would enrich the conference by bringing real-life, recent insights and experience as well as solid medical data around dog meat consumption.
