Towards An Anti-Racist South Kingstown (T.A.S.K.) is an organization made up of Rhode Island youth, parents, and allies dedicated to enacting antiracist policies in SK.

T.A.S.K.’s first mission is to implement a more inclusive and diverse curriculum and staff, end the disparity of discipline among black students, and create boards of accountability to see these changes through in complete and thoughtful methods. The current curriculum, discipline policies, and lack of diversity in our South Kingstown teachers all preserve racism and bias toward our BIPOC community.

On July 22nd there will be an emergency South Kingstown School Committee meeting at 5pm. We need your help to show them that the entire town of South Kingstown wants better for their students. By giving your signature, and sharing this petition with your friends and family, you will be benefiting the lives of students for years to come. We can no longer stay silent on these racial issues, the time to act is now.
