Lets make Spalding a thriving town again!

Recently due to Covid19 outbreak some councillors have come to the decision that the council will no longer provide market stalls for stallholders. 

Their new requirements are for stall holders to:

• Purchase their own stalls/gazebos with no financial aid
• Erect and dismantle their own stalls 

The new stall requirement has been heavily voted against by the public but still our councillors are not listening! By signing this petition it demands that this issue needs re-addressing!

We are already losing stallholders to other markets, quitting, or generally not being able to make this change. Soon our market will cease to exist and Spalding will become a ghost town.

Our councillors need to stop putting so much money into Springfields and focus on what the public who live here wish for! Many recommendations for new businesses and ideas are regularly posted, yet still no one is paying attention. 

This ridiculous change will cause small businesses and traders to lose their livelihood and have a large economic effect on the town. 

My mum is a stallholder so this is very personal to my family, we would appreciate your help.
