On Oct 2nd 2014, Michael called the Sheriff Dept and told them he wished to file a complaint against Officer Magee for dumping Duke. Deputy Crissey and Officer DeJong responded. Because Officer Magee works for City of Springfield and is on the Bon Homme County Sheriff"s Office Part time list, Depty Crissey told Michael he needed to call Bon Homme States Attorney or DCI if he wished to file a complaint against Officer Magee. He gave Michael their phone numbers. Deputy Crissey>>>" I informed Mike the matter needs to be seen by another agency. I informed Mike it would be more fair and balanced and that's why I gave them the phone numbers to the States Attorney and DCI." Yet Deputy Chrissey and Deputy Maggs of the Bon Homme Sheriff's Dept were the ones who did the investigation of Officer Magee. (who also works part time for the Bon Homme Sheriff's Office.) Deputy Crissey and Deputy Maggs were the two deputies who contacted Officer Magee and got his story and Statements. Deputy Crissey and Deputy Maggs were the two deputies who went to the grove of trees and took pictures of Dukes remains on Oct 3rd. Pictures that they later claim were never printed and are now lost because his cell phone is broken. Pictures that would have shown the condition of Dukes body as to if it he was mangy looking or not. (In the DCI agent's report it states that Photo evidence is at the Bon Homme Sheriffs office) I agree with Deputy Crissey. It would have been more fair and balanced if the matter would have been handled by another agency.
