In less than a month our petition to stop the Elective Share law in South Carolina. in honor of our mother, Daisy H. Wessinger, has received 250 signers! We know that Mom would appreciate all of our effort and support in getting this ridiculous law changed so that the departed's wishes will be upheld. Mom was quite the activist herself. She often spoke out about her beliefs and wrote letters to local and state representatives about such things as controlling rampant growth and cutting down grand trees. Please continue to share with others to help get the word out on this issue. The people of South Carolina deserve better than this.
