Former, (Retired), South Carolina Highway Patrol Lieutenant Bob Beres, known as "Trooper Bob" recently started a new career as "Traffic Tracker" for local ABC news affiliate WCIV Channel 4. A post on the "Traffic Tracker" Facebook page made Thursday April 19th, 2019 at approximately 2000 hrs stated some very personal and very negative remarks about a South Carolina Law Enforcement Entity. While the Agency he was referring to, and many others, do not use tactics that may necessarily be taught at the SC Criminal Justice Academy, SCJA also does not teach about honoring Brotherhood/Sisterhood and test on it. However, it is imperative to honor brothers and sisters of your blue blood!  Beres has no regard to professional courtesy, in that he should have approached the leadership of the Agency he disagreed with about his qualms instead of making it a social media mockery. Integrity for a human is reflected in many ways, and a "Brother's Keeper" Or "Sister's Keeper", Beres is not... There are men and women holding the line at any given moment risking to die to protect us. We uplift and commend their relentless dedication. We should not tolerate those who bash their efforts, regardless of their former career. But yet, they would still fight to save you if you do accost them.

This petition is designed to stop this man from dishonoring the law enforcement badge further. If Bob Beres cares more about personal opinions, ratings, and social media clicks than his badge, then leave the Line. His loyalty does not stand with the THIN BLUE LINE. If you stand with the THIN BLUE LINE, please sign this petition and share. Bob Beres should no longer be able to publicize the title "TROOPER" without concurrent "former" or "retired" designation.
