Release Of My Fiancé Travis Robinson

Release Of My Fiancé Travis Robinson
The Issue
My Fiancé Travis Robinson has been incarcerated since 2008. He’s been wrongfully convicted of attempted robbery and assault. The person who’s testimony that put him away has now Recanted his statement also there was No evidence/fingerprints gun powder residue could prove that he was the one that committed the crime. Travis has a very distinctive birth mark on his face that is very recognizable. Even the witnesses that appeared at the trial were unsure because of his birth mark. But because they were pretty much pressured and wanted some type of justice Travis caught the blame for the crime. And because his height & hair fit the description of the suspect he was convicted and found guilty. He did not have a fair trial and because he was so young at the time and had no knowledge about the justice system he was railroaded. His Lawyer at the time also felt like because Travis was a young black guy and the system wanted to make an example out of him he fell victim to it. He has suffered so much in the last 12 years. And because he did not want to be labeled as a Snitch and have possible retaliation against his family he chose to be quiet and take the time. It has been far too long and way time for him to be home. I am hoping to get enough help from the community and friends to bring him home. He has a Mother and Fiancé who loves him dearly and wants him home. He has suffered enough for a crime that he did not commit. Help me in signing this petition to get him home. Please and thank you! He has exhausted all his appeals and I’m trying to get his case reopened with the main witness recanting his story. All Support is Welcome
