Setsing Shopping Complex has become a haven for thugs, drugs and gangsterism, in fact Qwa-Qwabas a whole. People have their belongings taken and get stabbed and shotbroad day light in Setsing Complex, Phuthaditjhaba, Qwa-Qwa.There is no police presence at the centre or patrols in the community at all.

Phuthaditjhaba Police Station which is responsible for hundreds of thousands of people, claims lack of facilities e.g cars, police officers and also confirmed that only 7 crime prevention officers are available during the day when these gasterism related incidents happen and cannot risk sending 7 police officers when the people in the community are being butchered daily.

The national Police Commissioner Mr. Bheki Cele launched a festive safety campaign in Qwa-Qwa this month, but to this day we as the community of Maluti A Phofung haven't seen any police presence since that day.

We are dying here, our men, women and children are not safe here.

We need change now!
