Collins Khosa was a law abiding citizen who, unknowingly aired out a correct grievance against his perpetrators. He was killed for implying that he was within his every right in drinking inside his house, and not violating the lockdown regulations. However, the SANDF has denied any wrongdoing with its recent reports, with contradict and undermine the witnesses who were present during this brutal 'disciplining' of a family man well within his rights and domain. 

If we as South Africans allow the SANDF, SAPS and Metro Police to continue operating without the PROPER understanding of the lockdown regulations and when physical force is necessary to enforce said regulations, we are all in danger. Irrespective of race, economic status and gender, letting such a crime go unpersecuted is a major disservice to the Khosa family and the values we all grew up being taught. The principles and ethics that The Constitution must be fully applied, along with the judicial system. 

We the citizens must mobilize hence the drafting of this petition. Let us all push for the persecution of the soldiers who committed said crime. Let us all make the government take notice and realise the error committed by said soilders and make them take this crime serious. We have had enough of Black bodies being treated as second hand citizens, while our 'leaders' lead a life of privilege. We have had enough of the minorities concerns being placed ahead of the majority. SIZWILE
