Good day,

As a parent of an Autistic child, we need help from our government.

We need more basic education, teachers trained for Autistic children and adults. We need state schools build for our children.

We have milions of autistic children and adults in South Africa.

We need affordable therapy options or free options in Autism Schools.

We need financial help and grants from the government. Costs are high, some even R9000pm for 1 child to provide the help they need! Not all of us can afford this, and we are left alone to fend for our children, for basic education, doctors appointments.

Even at State Hospitals, alot of parents need to sit for hours with an autistic child, Mr. President you should really do this one day, and you will see, It aint no walk in the park!

Even Autistic adults have no joy to this!

Private schools are extremely expensive.

Private Healthcare are extremely expensive.

Medication are extremely expensive.

I hope to achieve some sort of help for us with this petition, the ones that are being forgotten by our Government.

Autistic Adults need to have more options available to them, to be able to create a future. More job opportunities to them.

South Africans should be more aware about Autism. Why is Autism Awareness so little?

Why are the Government looking another way to our needs as parents and adults with Autism?

More and more are diagnosed every single day, why are we being put at the back of the list!
