Next steps for the Graham Street Light Rail Station

Hey everyone - As promised, I'm sending you the link to provide public comment during Sound Transit's Long-Range Plan comment period. http://soundtransit.publicinvolvement.net/?utm_campaign=june2014&utm_medium=website&utm_source=website Please fill out the short survey with a vote for the Graham Street Light rail Station and why it matters to you and your family, business or neighborhood. If we can get a strong showing here, it will definitely push the station up on the priority list (for Sound Transit, as well as the County and the City, who can help overcome funding obstacles). There's growing momentum for the station. Since I last wrote to you, in addition to meeting with Rachel Smith from Sound Transit, I've met with staff from the Transportation Choices Coalition (who are very enthusiastic about helping), and they're working with me to schedule meetings with staff from SDOT and the mayor's office. Thanks to all of you who have signed the petition, got your friends and neighbors to sign, or have offered assistance with organizing. There will be opportunities soon to do more, if you're interested, but in the meantime, adding public comment in support of the Graham St. Station and getting other folks to do so as well will make a big difference.
