Ocean pollution is taking over the world so we need to stop littering and stop climate change to save our ocean. Over 90% of the Pollution in our oceans is made up of Plastic (source. www.marinemammalscenter.org This petition is to create awareness and support, for restaurants in Dar es Salaam, to move away from single use plastic water bottles that are served to patrons. Rather for them to move towards reusable water jugs and bottles where they can be refilled from a water dispenser and served to customers. This will help us to reduce single use plastic items.
