SOCOM II's multiplayer founded the basis for the way online games are today. Back in the early 2000's it had anywhere between 20k-100k+ people on at any time. This game utilized teamwork in a unique fashion that can't be found on any other game today. These players were also very dedicated to this game, this series, and this genre (which no longer really exists). I believe this multiplayer experience is worthy of a remaster in it's full essence. No changes to game play, mechanics, or controls. Simply an aesthetics upgrade and glitch patches. There are countless numbers of players across the globe that have been waiting for a new SOCOM or a remake, but we are swept under the table. This series is what helped Playstation and massive console multiplayer get on the map, and it should be remastered for all to enjoy once again.
