Thousands upon thousands of PlayStation 5 consoles are sitting in scalpers' apartments waiting to be sold at two to three time retail price. Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan isn’t doing anything to stop or lessen the scalping problem with the PS5. In fact, he is all over the media celebrating the most “successful” PlayStation launch ever. Fans buying a console for over a thousand dollars apiece from scalpers doesn’t feel like a “successful” launch to me.
Sony should fire CEO Jim Ryan for his complete apathy toward the huge PS5 scalper problem.
People only listen to you when you hit them where it hurts. So let’s hit Jim Ryan right in the wallet.
