For a character to say, "Aye, marra," in Peter Rabbit 2.

For a character to say, "Aye, marra," in Peter Rabbit 2.
The Issue
The 2018 hit, Peter Rabbit, is mostly set in Cumbria, England.
The problem is not one person speaks one word of Cumbrian throughout the movie - not even a speaking extra.
The Cumbrian dialect is not featured at all (which is understandable as it needs to appeal to international audiences). Cumbrian is unique: it features words and phrases that stem back to the Viking era. The dialect even has its own counting system. Farmers, who reside in Windermere (the Cumbria town featured in the movie), use this counting method to this day.
It would be great for one character, whether it be an extra or main character, to speak one word or phrase of the Cumbrian dialect - Preferably "Aye, Marra," which means, "Yes, friend," or more informally, "O.k, pal." The latter is more accurate.
By allowing the dialect to feature, the movie producers will be creating a movie that is true to its setting; they will allow the world to hear a historic 'language'; and they will put a smile on the face of many 'marras' in Cumbria.
