Socom 2 for the playstation 2 was one of the most online played game of its time racking up more player hours in one game than the entire collection of online games on the Xbox combined. Fans of the series have been yearning for a true successor but have been let down by failed attempts in the form of socom confrontation and socom 4. The average socom player is now in their mid 30's and the demand and market is huge which is why I am starting this petition to ask Sony entertainment PLEASE make the game we the socom community want so bad! All we want is socom 2 remastered in HD with dedicated servers. I think a digital download only copy as well will sell by its thousands and this has been proven in the form of the recent sales of the massively sucsessful resident evil HD remake on the psn network. I hope this petition receives enough signatures to make this happen.
