Patch PS Vita's Ported Games

This petition had 604 supporters

PS Vita is an incredible device. It has millions of loyal fans around the globe, all of which have the opportunity to play some amazing games on the go, such as Killzone, Gravity Rush, as well as the epic action RPG Freedom Wars, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of these games. Fans are also able to experience classic PS2/PS3 memories once more, right in the palm of their hand – Ratchet and Clank, Borderlands 2, and God of War are just a few examples of such great games.

However, it has come to our attention that the quality and stability of these classic ports prevents fans from enjoying these games properly. Low frame rates, subpar rendering resolutions, and game breaking bugs/crashes all add up to create an unpleasant gameplay experience.

That is why we, not just as fans of these games, but as fans of PlayStation in general want these bugs and issues fixing. Fans of these games have even gone to the extent of documenting these game’s issues online, because they want to help Sony in fixing these bugs and issues. The Ratchet and Clank Trilogy has had received extensive bug documentation over at Insomniac Game’s forums, and other game’s issues are simply a Google search away.

We believe in PlayStation, and we believe in PlayStation Vita and will continue to support Sony’s products and games – but for us to do that, we deem it necessary that Sony must do their part, by listening to their fans and fixing the games that they release, as they often do with other titles.

Titles that need fixing include:

  • The Jak and Daxter Trilogy
  • The Ratchet and Clank Trilogy (isuues mainly affecting the physical release)
  • Borderlands 2
  • The God of War Trilogy

We understand that patches for some of Vita's ported games are out of Sony's control, however, we know that patches for the above games can be made possibe. We know Sony cares for their fans, and this is a great way to show it.

Don’t let us down Sony! We haven’t given up on PS Vita in the west, so neither should you!
