To get the full benefits of the PlayStation Network, users need to have master accounts. However, many people are instead stuck with sub-accounts that only provide half of the benefits. Users that registered before they were 18 are forever stuck with accounts that are sub-par to master accounts. Most people would have simply lied about their age, but those of us who told the truth are actually being punished for it. New accounts are easy to make, but we would lose all of our trophies and other data tied to the original account. Simply allowing sub-accounts whose owners are 18 or older would be a drastic, yet easy, improvement to the PlayStation Network.
