Sony Animation has not made a good start to the 2020s with their first set of films, with Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway and Connected having their release dates delayed right when they'd been completed and ready for release due to the impact that the coronavirus has had on theatres. Right now Peter Rabbit 2 is currently set for January 2021 a whole year after the first trailer (initially it was delayed to August of this year) after not being able to release in time for Easter, and when Connected is due to release is currently unknown, right now it's likely that the film will be heading to Digital Media early without having had a theatrical run. If that does end up being the case, then it should definitely re-release in theatres worldwide at some point and some way once Covid-19 has officially passed, especially since the film is from Peter Lord and Christopher Miller, and since Sony Animation these days only ever do Theatrical Films, though the sequels to Open Season did simply release straight-to-dvd with a cheaper budget (they don't really count as part of the studio's lineup due to being such anyway).

What can be said about Connected can of course also be said to other Animated Films from Animation Studios that only ever do Theatrical Films of this year that ended up coming to Digital Media early (being that they re-release in theatres worldwide at some point and some way once all's back to normal with movie theatres), of which earlier on in the year I was able to've done petitions about as well:
