Months ago Bethesda announced the remaster of a game many have come to know and love. I am of course talking about: The Elder Scrolls 5, Skyrim. However for me and many others it wasn't the updated graphics or port to the next gen system that caught our attention, it was mod support for the consoles, something that was never seen before with any other game. In the months leading up sony decided to go back on the mod support on their system, recently they have gone back on that decision, but not without a catch. Mods will be allowed but only without external assets, which despite bethesdas claims to boost sales is almost essential and to many is what makes a mod a mod and not a cheat. Without external assets ps4 users will be unable to use mods that implement new: places, quests, items, marriable people (serana etc) characters, overhauls, dialogs, scripts and so much more.this doesn't just affect playstion users however, it will hinder the market and future bethesda games. We've already pushed sony back this far. Why settle for less and damn the future of the gaming industry?
