Solihull is surrounded by beautiful country side which is the home to some amazing wildlife! But as the local cut through roads become increasingly used as racetracks and general speed zones more and more of our domesticated animals and wildlife are suffering!!! Not only does it infuriate me whilst out riding my horse that some motorists speed pass blatantly not caring about the safety of myself or my horse, today I witnessed a deer get struck by a car which did slow down but then decided to drive off!!! Luckily with the help of some wonderful passers by, we saved the poor deer and were able to release it later that evening after it spent the day recovering at a local vets. This could of easily of been someone’s  beloved cat, dog or even a child!!!! I am starting this petition in hope that something can be done to help slow the traffic down all around Damson Parkway, Lugtrout Lane, Rowood Drive area. I see posts daily regarding the issues we all have with our neighbourhood being used as racetracks etc so Please sign and let’s make a difference for our local community, pets and our precious wildlife!!!
