همبستگی برای آزادی زندانیان سیاسی و عقیدتی و نه به اعدام

هم‌میهنان گرامی،

کشور ما در یکی از بحرانی‌ترین و خطیرترین چرخش‌های تاریخی خود قرار گرفته است. و همان‌گونه‌که کارنامه‌ی سیاه حکومت اسلامی در این ۴۶ سال نشان می‌دهد در چنین لحظه‌های سرنوشت‌ساز، بیش‌از هرزمان دیگری باید نسبت به وضعیت ناروشن و نگران‌کننده‌ی زندانیان سیاسی و عقیدتی و احتمال آغاز دورِ اعدام‌های بزرگ هشیار بود. شکل شرم‌آور و ضدانسانی انتقال زندانیان اوین و خبرهای اعدام‌هایی که این روزها از ایران می‌رسد نشانه‌های بسیار جدیِ خطرهایی‌ست که جان عزیزان دربندِ ما را تهدید می‌کند.

ما، از شهرها و کشورهای مختلف جهان گردِهم آمده ایم تا باهم برای آزادی زندانیان سیاسی و عقیدتی و توقف حکم‌های اعدام در ایران مبارزه کنیم.

همبستگی برای آزادی زندانیان سیاسی وعقیدتی و نه به اعدام نه یک سازمانی سیاسی به‌معنای متعارف آن است و نه به هیچ‌تشکل‌ و جریان خاص سیاسی وابسته. بلکه یک جریان حقوق بشری است که در آن هرنوع فعالیت و تبلیغ به‌نفع هر سازمان و جریان سیاسی چه در درون آن و چه در فعالیت‌های آن جایی ندارد.

ما، از طیف‌های گوناگون، در مقام افراد مستقل جمع  شده ایم تا با تکیه بر وجدان جمعی و مسئولیت انسانی‌مان برای دو خواست مشخص مبارزه کنیم:

هم‌وطنان عزیز،

از شما دعوت می‌کنیم به این کارزار بپیوندید و به هرشکل ممکن در تحقق این دو هدف انسانی ما را همراهی و یاری کنید:

·         آزادی بی‌قید و شرط تمامی زندانیان سیاسی و عقیدتی

·         توقف فوری حکم‌های اعدام در ایران

Dear Reader,

Iran is currently going through one of the most critical and perilous turning points in its history. As the dark record of the Islamic Republic over the past 46 years shows, it is in such decisive moments that we must remain especially vigilant regarding the uncertain and alarming situation of political and conscience prisoners, as well as the real possibility of a new wave of mass executions.

The inhumane and disgraceful manner in which prisoners are being transferred from Evin prison, along with recent reports of executions from Iran, are grave signs of dangers threatening the lives of our loved ones behind bars.

We, gathered from various cities and countries around the world, have come together to jointly campaign for the release of political and conscience prisoners and to oppose the death penalty in Iran.

“Solidarity for the Freedom of Political and Conscience Prisoners and No to Execution” is not a political organisation in the conventional sense, nor is it affiliated with any particular party or political movement. It is a human rights initiative in which no activity or advocacy on behalf of any political organisation or current – whether within or outside of this movement – has any place.

We, as individuals from diverse backgrounds, have united as independent persons, relying on our collective conscience and human responsibility, to fight for two clear demands:

The unconditional release of all political and conscience prisoners
The immediate halt to all death penalty sentences in Iran
