Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) Equality Bill is the law that Rep. Kaka Bag-oa and Rep. Geraldine Roman passed in the congress because they want to lessen the descriminitaion and accept the LGBT in our country that they all exist in this world too, but what is SOGIE Equality Bill? 

A young Filipinos who have a campaign named “The Philippine Anti-Discrimination Alliance of Youth Leaders (PANTAY)” is campaigning for the passage of the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression (SOGIE) Equality Bill, formerly known as the Anti-Discrimination Bill in the 17th Congress. a diverse coalition composed of youth organizations from all over the Philippines united in our struggle for equality, dignity, and respect for all Filipinos regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.

So the SOGIE Equality Bill is giving the LGBT an equal treatment as a human being that they are made by our god too, dignity, and respect, respect for who they are and respect what they want in their life.

The SOGIE Equality Bill protects the LGBT from discriminatory acts such as:
-Denial of access to public services
-Including SOGIE as a criteria for hiring or dismissal of workers
-Refusing admission or expelling students in schools based on SOGIE
-Imposing disciplinary actions that are harsher than customary due to the student's SOGIE
-Refusing or revoking accreditation of organizations based on the SOGIE of members
-Denying access to health services
-Denying the application for professional licenses and similar documents
-Denying access to establishments, facilities, and services open to the general public
-Forcing a person to undertake any medical or psychological examination to determine or alter one's SOGIE
-Harassment committed by persons involved in law enforcement
-Publishing information intended to "out" or reveal the SOGIE of a person without consent
-Engaging in public speech which intends to shame or ridicule LGBT persons
-Subjecting persons to harassment motivated by the offenders bias against the offended party's SOGIE, which may come in the form of any medium, including telecommunications and social media
-Subjecting any person to gender profiling
-Preventing a child under parental authority from expressing one's SOGIE by inflicting or threatening to inflict bodily or physical harm or by causing mental or emotional suffering. 

We all know that there are many people today in our society who is always discriminate the LGBT, But is it okay for you to have this kind of law in your country? Do you think that everyone will have equal treatment? 

For me as a creator of this petition, based on my opinion, It's okay for me to have this kind of law in our country which is the Philippines and because of this, everyone will have an equal treatment to the LGBT because the LGBT  is a human too, they have feelings too, they also feel pain not just emotionally but also in spiritually too. Because we all know that people nowaday always making fun of us and they see us as a sinners and yes, I'm one of them and I'm proud of it.We are not clowns and we're not a sinners.

So the question is are you in favor of the implemented SOGIE Equality Bill? Remember, they're also human that is made by god just like you.
