GMU freshmen, the class of 2019, are required to purchase the anytime dining plan. The lowest level of this plan costs $2,135 and is a mandatory cost to thousands of students. Before the beginning of classes, during applications and orientation, it was implied that those who have these meal plans will have truly ANYTIME dining. As of October 18, 2015, students have been notified that dining hall hours will be changed as followed;

Pilot house:
Tuesday-Saturday 5:00 pm to 2:00 am -------> is now 10:00 pm to 2:00 am

Ikes dining hall:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 am -----------> is now 10:00 am to 2:00 am

Students have not even been emailed or properly notified of these changes. They have only posted one or two flyers on the doors to the dining halls that a majority of people have not seen.

Last year the dining services made changes, and then changed back to how things were after students made it clear that they were not happy. We have the power to change the dining hours back to what was promised when we paid for our meal plans.
