When child welfare refuses to remove children from an abusive parent because they are afraid of being sued, they fail to protect the very children they are responsible for. And when family court then gives that same abusive parent full custody, the system continues the abuse instead of stopping it.

A loving parent loses holidays, birthdays, milestones, and every moment that matters. Meanwhile, the abusive parent uses the system as a weapon to punish the victim for speaking out. This is not justice — this is a system that rewards money, not truth.

Our government must create real oversight over the family-court system and child-welfare agencies. These systems must work together, not against the best interest of our children. Right now, only the parent with money has a voice. The safe parent and the children are left unheard.

Reform is not optional. It is necessary. Families deserve protection, fairness, and accountability.
