Stop the accusational attacks on Jeremy Corbyn’s character. Help him keep his seat.
The Issue
Jeremy Corbyn MP is not responsible for all the tweets of racists. He is not responsible for all those who have continually conspired to work against him. He is a principled, decent human being who has, in my eyes done no wrong; he has called out injustice for all his political life and will go down in history as a man who fought for the principles of law, equal opportunities of those underprivileged and deprived of a voice in a world full of greedy men who turn their back on poverty.
He went to Ireland, when the indiscriminate bullets were still flying and reached out with the olive branch of peace, albeit behind the scenes. I believe it was this initial approach with tentative dialogue that eventually helped to facilitate the signing of the ‘Good Friday agreement’
Jeremy is not racist; he calls out against oppression where ever it raises it’s ugly head. He has motivated a whole generation of young people to vote for the principles of respect and common decency towards fellow human beings. If Jeremy loses his seat of Islington I personally think young people will desert the labour party in droves and seasoned activists will give up their membership. Jeremy has held the conscience of parliament to the fire for all his political life, and I’m sure he wil continue to do so.
