Dr. White has been faced with the injustice of losing her position of Head of Department in the Social Work Program and was asked not to return back. Her last day will be May 31st, unless we do something to stop it! Social Work students of Missouri Southern State University are appalled by the actions of taking away Dr. White. Dr. White has served the Joplin community for years, and everyone that know her knows she doesn't deserve this type of injustice. Everybody is aware that Dr. White loves the Joplin community, and has worked in the surrounding area for years. Dr. White loves teaching Social Work and nobody could possibly take her place. Dr. White is important for future social workers in the program currently and those who plan on attending later on. This is why it's so important to keep her.
