Meeting with Department of Social Services

April 2016, prior to the Federal Election I was invited to a meeting with the Department of Social Services with many thanks to all of you who have supported me and this petition. The discussion was a positive conversation about implementing policy change and what PPL would look like for Foster and Kinship parents without any firm commitment. Now, more than ever, we all need to get behind this issue and contact our new or same Federal Parliament Members and Senators to remind them this gap still remains for Foster and Kinship parents. I can not thank you all for your ongoing interest to bring about this change for our most vulnerable children.
