On December 16, 2020 approximately at 4:15pm in Eldridge, California an unmarked black sedan quickly approached my female friend and I during a walk at the park located on a the Sonoma Developmental Center. Two white unknown men  came out and demanded to place my hands up. Both males were not wearing masks and did not allow me to wear a mask.  Man  1 pulled me into a lock and placed handcuffs onto and then decided look through my pockets for my identification card. Officer 2  told my friend who witnessed everything,” don’t worry we’re not as rough as Sacramento police”

. After realizing we were both Sonoma state students both sheriffs changed their demeanor and promptly let me go. They told us to feel free walking around and enjoying the sites and have a good day. They both left in the unmarked black four door car. They did not tell us either of their names or badge numbers. I filed a complaint with IOLERO and submitted a formal complaint against the sheriff department on December 18, 2020.
Now both sheriffs as of this week are stating they were not present on that date when they both approached and interacted with us.
