Thank you for your support.
Today is the second anniversary of Kelly’s passing. Susan Strongman has written the most comprehensive article yet about his life and our struggles with trying to change Japan’s outdated mental health system. It also includes a previously untold story of another NZ JET programme participant, Kathryn Morris, who was also tied down in a Japanese psychiatric hospital and 18 months later, back in Japan, she committed suicide on 5 May 2005, aged 29.

And there will be a story on the NZ radio show Checkpoint, which runs from 5:00-6:30, tonight (I.e., the show starts in one hour. I’m not sure where we’ll be in it.)
