My son like so many other has multiple severe food allergies. He is only able to eat 16 safe foods. With that being said, he is extremely limited on what he can consume safely. The So Delicious coconut ice cream was the only safe product for him to have. It is a trusted brand for many. They have now added pea protein to their products. When we saw the new label and he read the new ingredients list, he was absolutely devistated. I will never forget his face. If they change their milk ingredients, he will have no other options. There are so many others like him that are no longer able to have and enjoy this product. For us and many others it is out of necessity to use this product, not a choice and we can just switch brands. We do not have other options. I don’t know why pea protein is now being added to so many things, while it is taking away safe products from our food allergy community. I am hoping this petition will help the company realize just how many people this is affecting. Also, how much business they will be losing and make the change back.
