Hi there! Seniors at Snohomish High School have found out recently that their teachers will not be at graduation (Tuesday June 15th). Students have been contacting the staff of Snohomish High School to hear out our case. It is sad to hear that after the past 4 years, our teachers that have mentored us and dedicated hundreds of hours in the classroom and free time to prepare us for the future have been denied the ability to participate in the community involvement and celebration that Snohomish has been known for over the past 125 years despite the the priceless impact they have had on everyone of our lives. Graduation is one of the few things that the district decision makers have allowed to happen. We are grateful that the district has granted us the minimum to celebrate our hard worked 13 years of education. That being said, it would not feel right to exclude the very people who made it possible. We are aware some teachers may choose not to participate but several students, faculty, and community members feel strongly about this time sensitive issue and would appreciate it if they were given the option to be a part of the ceremony.
