The Fabulous Moolah was not a PIMP -- time to apologize!

On March 12th , the WWE announced "The Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal" for WrestleMania , to honor the legacy of The Fabulous Moolah, who paved the way for women's wrestling .
In less than 72 hours , the internet had stirred the pot ! Claiming that Moolah was a pimp and her girls were prostitues based off third hand sources and a couple disgruntled students out of hundreds. A petition by cyber bullies to discredit Moolah and take her name off of the battle royal was started .
With very little research (based off of the information we've found) Snickers was pressured as well as WWE to change the name of the battle royal with the following to say .
"We were recently made aware of the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc's (WWE) decision to honor a former wrestler during the upcoming WrestleMania 34 event," the statement from Snickers read. "As a principle-based business that has long championed creating inclusive environments that encourage and empower everyone to reach their full potential, this is unacceptable. We are engaging with the WWE to express our disappointment."
In all of our interviews thus far , none have included any comments that would support Snickers comment . We continue to ask Snickers and Mars Candy to simply look at the research and issue an apology .
Cyber bullies should be ashamed that they pressured both WWE and Snickers into this predicament . We understand that numbers raise concern and mistakes are made , however , as more truth surfaces we offer Snickers the chance to make right on their statement .
We also are here to preserve the legacy of The Fabulous Moolah and provide first hand accounts of the trailblazer herself .
