1/10/22 SMUHSD OMICRON UPDATE

As of January 10th, a few of my fellow pupils have contracted COVID-19, and many have been closely exposed to it (based on our own contact tracing as the SMUHSD has suspended contact tracing for the time being). But, people should not have to choose between their health (and families), over education. Those who give care to their studies will show up to school EVEN after extremely close contacts, due to the fear of falling behind. And those who choose to stay at home will miss valuable class time. This can be avoided through a transition to a hybrid/online model for even a few weeks.
