Ask Your City Council Member to Make ALL Workplaces Smoke-Free!

Right now Mayor Jordan and the City Council need to hear from citizens about protecting ALL workers, residents, and visitors from secondhand smoke, a leading risk factor for heart disease, stroke and cancer. An eight hour shift at a smoke-filled bar can mean the equivalent of smoking a pack of cigarettes! The good news is that these risks can be prevented through comprehensive smoke-free laws. Currently many traditional businesses are smoke-free, but too many establishments in the hospitality industry, like bars and restaurants, are not. 

We believe everyone deserves to breathe smoke-free air, and that no one should have to choose between their health and earning a paycheck. Will you help us by signing a petition asking city leaders to pass a comprehensive smoking ordinance that covers all businesses?
