Compel the school board to
1) PRESS PAUSE ON PHASE 3 WHICH DEMOLISHES THE HISTORY BUILDING
2) HIRE A PRESERVATION EXPERT TO STUDY THE COSTS AND POSSIBILITIES AROUND THE ADAPTIVE REUSE OF THE HISTORIC BUILDINGS ON HISTORIC PROSPECT HILL.
3) INCORPORATE SAMOHI INTO THEIR NEW HISTORIC RESOURCES PROCESS AND REVISIT THE FINDINGS IN THE 2008 EIR REPORT WHICH COST $477K.

*Remind the school board that they destroyed the historic JAMS auditorium when they could have renovated it for $7M. The new development was budgeted for $19M and now is 230% over budget at $44M. The same team budgeted $172M for Phase 3. Make no mistake that this team has a track record of going WAY over budget! They want taxpayers to approve another round of bonds instead of completing their due diligence to protect taxpayers, our cultural resources and choosing the most sustainable option.
