Thank you for everyone who signed the petition and submitted comments during the official comment period. Due to everyone's overwhelming support, the California High-Speed Rail Authority is coming to Bakersfield on October 16th to solicit additional comments. 

We could use your help! Please share the petition with your friends and family. Make sure your neighbors understand why this important for our future, and make sure that they add their voice to the dialogue so that the High-Speed Rail Authority knowS that we don't approve of a Westchester train station at F Street and Golden State Avenue.

Please mark your calendar for October 16th and consider showing up and making public comments in support of the station on Truxtun Avenue and in opposition to a station in Westchester. The meeting time hasn't been set yet, but the meeting is typically held during the day. More details will be sent when they are available.
