Pay your suppliers within 30 days.

The Issue

Businesses should be paid within 30 days, and always on time.

The average small business in the UK is owed nearly £12,000 in outstanding invoices, forcing them to spend 336 hours every year to chase late payments. Nearly two thirds of firms (60%) are having to wait for 60 days or more for payment—money that is owed to them.

Late payments is the scourge of British business today. For smaller businesses in particular, it can at best cause cash flow issues, and at worst prove fatal.

Quite simply this is not sustainable and has to change.

All businesses should be treated fairly.

All businesses should be paid, quickly, and always on time.

That is why we are calling for all businesses, big and small, to commit to 30 day payment terms.

If you own or work for a small business, or know a family member of friend that does, or just want them to survive, we want you to show your support by sharing our manifesto and signing our online petition.

Things have gone on long enough – and we are in a position to drive change. It is time to make a stand against late payments and say enough is enough. All businesses should be paid for the work they have done, promptly.

We each have a role to play in driving this change, but it starts with a signature. So make a difference today.
