Taemin wants to go on a world tour and his company is failing to promote him internationally despite him having unique allure and being one of the best performers currently working in music. I want to get so many signatures that SM sees how much we want this. I am a Taemin and SHINee fan from the USA, and I would do anything to see him live, but traveling to another country is complicated and expensive. Taemin himself has expressed interest in doing a world tour through comments during his Korean concerts and on live streams on Instagram. 

Taemin is one of the most talented and hardworking artists not just in k-pop but in all of the entertainment industry. People need to see this firsthand! His label, SM Entertainment, seems to have no interest in promoting him internationally. His recent music video for his song “Guilty” only has 14 million views, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t popular. To me, they don’t promote him correctly. Taemin recently did a two day concert in Korea which was available to be viewed internationally through a paywalled (50 USD) livestream on either Beyond Live or Weverse. I was in the Weverse stream for day 2, and there were 74,000 people watching! I think the numbers are clear, there are many people who would like to see Taemin come to their country. Taemin is THE gold standard for modern male pop performers, but he isn’t getting recognized due to improper international promotion. It’s important that more people get to see how incredible he is, and the Western entertainment industry needs to see how it is done!

We want a world tour that spans not only Korea, Japan, and North America, but also South Asia, South America, Europe, Australia and more. We may need multiple tours since the demand could be so high on the first one! Make tickets easy for us to get and sell a lot of tickets without the bloodbath tactics that some western artists will do. Whatever is done, it must be fair. It many don’t get in, add more dates or do a future tour so everyone can see how majestic Taemin is firsthand!
