Hello everybody! The school board meeting last night went well, all things considered! Thank you so much to everyone who came to support us, it was so awesome to see half the people in the audience raise their hand when we asked who was here at least in part for this policy!! I do wish we'd gotten a better response from the superintendent, but no worry- we're not done yet! ;) we'll let y'all know what our next steps are soon. To those who couldn't make it- that's okay, and we thank you for signing this petition! Please continue sharing it with your friends, we'll give the board our updated numbers when we speak with them next. We've attached a link to a video of the meeting, our team talked from the five minute mark to the 26 minute mark (5:00-26:00). Superintendent Metz gave a response from 1:03:00 to 1:07:00.
