Sligo county council have installed new demountable bollards throughout Sligo town in order to remove existing parking bays and provide an additional pedestrian movement zone in efforts to help pedestrians adhere to social distancing during COVID_19. However, these temporary alterations have completely disregarded disabled drivers and their need for disabled parking bays. When this petition has enough signatures it will be brought forward to Sligo county council and area engineer Declan Noone.
