Slander is a crime: Ban it from electoral and political debate shows on television.
Why this petition matters

With political debate shows being watched more so then ever before, the fight to combat slander by politicians must begin.
There has always been an inherented problem of politicians calling out allegations towards other spokespersons on panals such as question time and or otherwise. However there's a distinct difference between arguing another parties policies and purposefully defacing and discrediting individuals in their respected parties. There are highly influential politicians currently which have a habit of calling out individual politicians for lying to the general public without bringing any facts to their accusations. This is done for a sole purpose of devaluing the individual in an attemp to discredit them as a person. This is term known as slander it's actually a criminal offence in this country under the Defamation Act of 2013.
This is a petition to tackle this issue and inforce a law that all party spokepersons speaking in media broadcasted political shows must include facts to their argument if they are to accuse another party spokesperson of anything that has the potential for defamation.
This petition would help to bring trust back to the general public. It would stop a huge political cultural problem and a toxic trait that always shows face whenever there's such things as an electoral debate being broadcasted.
