SkillsActive should refrain from infringing the human rights of Yoga practitioners to practice and share their practice by  instituting the entirely inappropriate 'National Occupational Standard for A Yoga Teacher'. Yoga is not in their brief. Yoga is a personal spiritual practice, which for many people is integral to their religious observances, and not an exotic fitness regime to be exploited for profit. It is misclassified by Sport England who wrongly apply the European Sports Charter to it. The vast majority of knowledgable senior practitioners of Yoga in the UK take this view.
