The rec department was emailed, and still an application process to get the event approved even if it's something small, you'll be updated when the event will take place, it should only take about 3-5 business days. The email I sent last week was mistyped and It didn't get to the proper channel for approval. So event still may be held off until approval is final to hold the event.
