I went this morning, and of course I missed the chance to present the project. I have 2 weeks before the next meeting, and I will be giving it at 7 p.m. This is what happens when you are over looked, and you don't really understand how these types of proceedings take place. The plus to all of this is that I know, and Mayor Wolf knows who I am, so the next meeting I go to he is going to be looking for me, because we spoke about the situation of me presenting a project. I guess its still a learning process for me when it comes to formal meetings like this because I still have no real immediate help directly when attending these meetings, I'm trying to figure this all out on my own. So, again the plus to this is, that I know Mr. Wolf is how I address him, will approve of a skate park in the city. He knows me very well, and again he was my agriculture teacher. I think that will also give me some more time to prepare 2 more of the project presentations one for the city manager, and another for another chair person that sits up in the front. Im gonna email them and let them know exactly what they have on their desks. So when the time comes they will have those projects sitting in front of them. It's a really discouraging situation for me, even with my current circumstances. I dont know about anyone else, I deal with systematic racism on a daily basis from people, overlooked, etc... Ive been trying to find a place to live for God only knows how long, and somehow I am still making it, I don't know how but I am, and trying to make a difference and change in the community even under the circumstances I'm in at the moment. I don't wanna go into details but its cost me a lot and I'm not just talking about money. So the next meeting date is set for 8/22/2022 I will post it as a picture on the next update here in a few mins. I'll be seldom on the updates for awhile because of rest, work, and research into my next meeting, and I'll have to make a few trips over to City Hall to discuss the next meeting preparations, what I need to listen for, etc... I was completely prepared for my presentation and what I was gonna say, obviously there is something bigger at work of course and wants to make sure that I have the proper presentation ready to get approval, everything happens for a reason. I know Mr. Wolf and his team of commissioners will approve of the Skatepark. We'll get there, in the mean time I will be conducting different social events as I get approval for them, and I also am adding a 5$ Walgreens giveaway card to the social event. I still have the 20$ reloadable gift card, and the Skateboard deck I will be giving away at the draw of a name. Have a good day!
