There is hardly anywhere to go for teenagers specifically ages 12-17 to hangout with friends and socialize. Since not everyone can hangout at a friends house so teens have to resort to places like restaurants and stores to see their friends. Including a skatepark includes more activities for teenagers to hangout, socialize, get exercise, and meet new people.
