*This is not a petition, but a declaration of support* Currently recreational skateboarding is frowned upon on campus at UBCO. There is a substantial population of skateboarders at UBCO who deserve to have an area to do what they love. This initiative will help to appreciate a large population of our campus. Skateboarding is a healthy activity that is enjoyable to many people. This area would afford students another resource to de-stress and help to combat mental health issues. To put it simply, a designated skate space will provide our campus with another recreational activity that the whole student body will be able to benefit from.

Signing this signifies that you are in favour of the Student's Union pursuing a designated area for recreactional skateboading for you, your friends and the rest of the student body. Let's make for a better campus.
