Recently, Netflix canceled the beloved series, 'Shadow and Bone' after two seasons, leaving the show on a cliffhanger and with a spinoff teased. This spinoff was supposed to be based on the Six of Crows Duology, a beloved series of books by author Leigh Bardugo. Sources like The Guardian and USA Today have said the series is "utterly, extremely bewitching", and "impossible to put down". Fans are extremely disappointed at the prospect of never getting to see our beloved series of books portrayed by the Netflix cast, which is described by most fans as absolutely perfect for their roles. 

Not only does the Netflix cast embody the six main characters perfectly, but they also show loving care for their characters' traumatic backstories and complex story arcs. The cast, when asked if they would like to do an audiobook, responded enthusiastically to the idea. 

We are therefore petitioning for a re-recording of the audiobook read by the cast of Shadow and Bone. Specifically Freddy Carter as Kaz, Amita Suman as Inej, Kit Young as Jesper, Danielle Galligan as Nina, Calahan Skogman as Matthias, and Jack Wolfe as Wylan. The wonderful thing about the duology is there are six different points of views, and each chapter could be read by that character's actor. 

This book has previously been created in audiobook form, read by six wonderful voice actors. However, we believe creating an audiobook with the Shadow and Bone actors now that the show has been released and subsequently canceled will bring together both old and new fans with the appeal of the Netflix cast’s familiar voices.
